Headlining Chefs 2022

Emma Crowhurst – Having taught at Leith’s School of Food and Wine in London for many years, Emma now teaches at Two Magpies Bakeschool, demonstrates and offers private catering

Sam Bilton – Sam is an established Food Historian, Writer & Cook with a penchant for the edible delights of yesteryear. This year she will be releasing her newest book, dedicated to the delights of Saffron.

Chetna Makan – a creative yet meticulous baker, Chetna finds baking a perfect outlet for her creativity. Having featured on Great British Bake Off, Chetna has released several cookbooks and is a familiar face at the Festival

Dominique Woolf – Winner of The Great Cookbook Challenge with Jamie Oliver, Dominique loves big bold flavours. Having trained at Leith’s, she started Woolf’s Kitchen creating a range of sauces and snacks for flavour hunters who insist that every meal or snack be an adventure.

Richard Bainbridge – Winner of Great British Menu in 2015, Richard has travelled and worked his way through some of the most amazing restaurants and countries across the globe. He has worked for Michel Roux Senior amongst many other esteemed chefs, and was head chef at Galton Blackiston’s Morston Hall. Now the Chef Patron of Benedict’s in Norwich, Richard is a chef to know and watch.

Georgina Hayden – Georgina grew up above her grandparents’ Greek Cypriot tavern in London and has taken her love of these recipes to create her latest cookbook, Nistisima, to share frugal, naturally vegan recipes from her childhood. Georgina has worked as part of Jamie’s Oliver’s food team for 12 years and has written for Delicious Magazine, Waitrose Magazine and many more.

Becky Excell – With over 200,000 followers on Instagram, Becky has become an internet sensation and hugely popular recipe creator and author. Becky is a particular talent in all-things Gluten Free and baking.


Jo Pratt – An award-winning food writer, cook, food stylist and presenter, Jo loves to create inspirational modern recipes, with achievable results for the home cook. Over the many years of writing Jo has become known for producing fail-safe, accessible and great looking recipes.

Thomasina Miers – chef, writer, restaurateur and honorary Festival Whizz, Tommi is back to share recipes from her latest book, Meat-Free Mexican.
