Fire and Feast - All day

“This year the magic of cooking over fire comes to the Festival in our new Outdoor Cooking zone.
Brought to you by Fire and Feast Suffolk, the new outdoor cooking and camping venture from P A Mobbs and Sons. Teamed up with Roadii Firegrill they will be offering woodfired cooking demonstrations and workshops to include salt baked chicken, planked fish, firegrill pizzas, campfire baking and other delights.
Taster workshops will run for 30-40 minutes, adults and accompanied children can try their hand at creative fire cookery such as mini tarte tatin, cheese and marmite scones or savoury flatbreads.”
Places available on the day.

Musical Soup - 12.30pm each day

Join Charly for an exploration into the world of musical soup. This session is suitable for young children and their families and anyone who is interested in creating a musical soup extravaganza using rhythms and sounds. We will see just how many vegetables we can orchestrate and fit into our musical pot. Join us as we make a feast for our ears!

Mad Science Keeping It Clear! - Halo Stage

Mad Science and Anglian Water have teamed up once again to deliver entertaining and exciting science shows at the festival to remind your Mini (and not so Mini!) Mad Scientists what can (and can’t!) be put down your toilets and sinks! With wacky experiments and eye-boggling erupting pipes, together we’ll explore how to ‘Keep It Clear’! Mad Science is an organisation which delivers unique science experiences for children in various settings. Keep It Clear is Anglian Water’s programme helping communities to avoid flooding and pollution caused by avoidable blocked sewer pipes.

Bunged Up! - Halo Stage

Airwik-Upon-Sea is a beautiful seaside resort, a wonderful place to live. Unless of course you are a wicked inventor who hates fresh air and anything clean, an inventor named Grim Grime Stink! High up on Rubbish Dump Hill he is plotting to put an end to the lovely seaside resort, with his most powerful weapon yet – The Mighty Wipe – but can you help Heap the dung beetle stop him? ‘Bunged Up!’ is a fun, interactive environmental show for all the family from Tiny Tales Storytellers in partnership with Anglian Water looking at the issues and impacts of wipes and fats, oils and grease.
