The Museum of East Anglian Life is hosting the second Cider and Song Festival on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 October. The event is a celebration of all things apple, from locally produced ciders to Apple identification with Orchards East and the Suffolk Traditional Orchard Group.
Friday evening features a Cider Bar with over 40 ciders, live music and Cider tasting sessions.
We celebrate Apple Day on Saturday with lots for families to enjoy. From an Archery experience to a puppet show, storytelling and crafts for all ages. There will be food cookery demonstrations, apple pressing and apple identification.
With music workshops from The East Anglian Traditional Music Trust and more music performances throughout the day and into the evening.
