Trade at the Festival

Trader applications are open for the 2026 festival.

In order to exhibit at the festival please read the Trader Handbook and Terms & Conditions, then complete the application form.

    To apply you must:

  • Currently be trading as a food or drink producer in East Anglia.
  • Have public and product liability insurance, a food safety hygiene certificate and employers’ liability insurance.
  • Products sold must be available all year round, either online or in farm shops, supermarkets and other stores.

As a completely independent not-for-profit organisation, we exist to support and celebrate local growers and producers.

We therefore charge a flat fee to trade at the festival, which is heavily subsidised to encourage businesses of all sizes to apply,  and we charge no commission.

We organise all the infrastructure so that you can concentrate on your products, your story and sales.

Business who have been trading for less than 12 months at the point of applying will receive a 50% reduction on their pitch fee.

Please note...

– Applying to the festival does not guarantee you a space. Sometimes we have to decline producers’ applications due to being over-subscribed.

– Snape Maltings has a limited number of pitch spaces and therefore we have to choose the most appropriate producers for the pitches we have available.

– We also take great care to ensure that there is a wide variety of produce at the Festival and that similar products are not duplicated too many times.

– We look at each year’s applications individually, offering pitches to new and previous traders. Therefore if you have traded in previous years, this doesn’t guarantee a space the following year.

– Priority is given to Suffolk based businesses using high quality local ingredients within their products, and to those offering something different and distinctive.
