Absolutely! For any cyclists or walkers we have a bespoke entrance by the South Arch (clearly signposted on the road). Just follow directions to the festival site and you’ll be directed to the appropriate entrance.

Please note we cannot take any responsibility for lost or stolen bicycles.

Public transport is limited, but Katch is an on demand bus service that runs between Framlingham, Wickham Market, Wickham Market train station at Campsea Ashe and Snape Maltings. Go here for more details www.katchalift.com

We have a strict green policy which all traders must adhere to. As a festival that promotes and supports local and seasonal produce, we are greener than most festivals as our food miles are kept to a minimum. Other policies include:

• No single-use plastic
• Promoting sustainable farming techniques
• All meat sold is Red Tractor certified
• All fish must be MCS rated 2-3
• Sackers are engaged to manage all waste from the festival, and recycle 95%+ of all waste produced. By NOT separating recycling and non-recycling bins, more is recycled using their special processes
• Drinking water is provided for water bottle refills

We employ a core team of people during the week of the festival to help set everything up and take key roles during the festival weekend. These roles offer great experience in event management.

We also offer a number of paid opportunities during the weekend of the festival.

Parking for everyone attending the festival is FREE.

Please follow the AA road signs as you get closer to Snape Maltings.

Disabled parking is available by the Entrance Gate. Please follow the general parking signs and staff will direct you to a dedicated Disabled parking spot on arrival

We highly recommend dogs are left at home. The festival is busy and crowded and can make dogs anxious.

If you must bring your dog, they must be well behaved and are not allowed inside any of the shops or marquees. Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times. Please ensure no mess is left anywhere on site.

Please do not leave your dog in your vehicle.

If your dog causes issues of any kind we will ask you to take them home.

Unfortunately we are not offering a shuttle bus this year as there has not been enough interest and the cost is too high. Parking is free at the festival and it’s a lovely walk from Aldeburgh!

Snape Maltings is largely flat with limited steps, however the ground is uneven in many places. We have tried to rectify this with tracking and other floor materials but these create more of a trip hazard. If you use any walking aids, we recommend ensuring they are suitable for grass and gravel surfaces.
