Jenny Jefferies

Jenny Jefferies is a food policy storyteller and systems thinker working at the intersection of regenerative agriculture, regenerative aquaculture, climate resilience, and social equity. Jenny translates complex policy into human-centered stories; amplifying the voices of farmers, fishermen, and frontline communities shaping the future of food. Through narrative, strategy, and advocacy, Jenny helps bridge the gap, not only between grassroots wisdom and institutional reform, but also between farmers and fishermen, because the way we grow and share food is the way we shape our world.

Jenny is an Award-winning Author of For The Love of The Land, For The Love Of The Sea, For The Love Of The Land II and For The Love Of The Sea II, and Islands In A Common Sea: Stories of Farming, Fishing and Food Around the World. Jenny is a farmer’s wife living on their regenerative family farm in South Cambridgeshire and is a Food Columnist writing for Country & Town House, the Cambridge Independent and Rural Life magazine. Jenny is a Producer and a Campaigner, who co-founded #Fish24; the first national 24hr social media campaign highlighting and celebrating the British fish and seafood industry. Jenny is also an Ambassador for Love British Food, The Country Trust and Eco Ewe, and is a member of The Guild of Food Writers and The British Guild of Agricultural Journalists.
